CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Ohio lawmakers recently passed a bill that could allow school districts to expel students or impose year-long suspensions if they make threats on social media or hit lists.
Ohio House Bill 206 was passed by the Ohio House of Representatives on Wednesday. it now goes to the Ohio Senate.

Under the bill, before students can return to the classroom, they must be examined by a psychiatrist to determine whether they pose a danger to themselves or others.
